Judy Anderson, a former commercial illustrator, specializes in acrylic on canvas, and watercolor on paper paintings. She is a signature member of National, Northwest, Texas and Ohio Watercolor Societies.​

 

The subject is frequently fractured or partially repeated to create visual energy.  It becomes a “what if” game of orchestrating through shifting, re-arrangind and repetition. Even then, my  “paintings are like children, some are easier to raise than others.” Only when all shapes compliment each other, does a painting leave the studio.
